FAQs

What services do you offer?

1

Nursing care for your cat, in the comfort of their(your) home! Along with nursing care, coming soon will be death doula/hospice care, and cat behavioral consultations. Check out the “Services” page for more information.

What forms of payment do you accept?

2

Currently, I’m unable to accept credit cards. This helps me keep my fees lower. I can take cash, Zelle, a check, or Venmo. If the check is returned, I will require reimbursement for the bounced check fee from the bank. Please let me know if you need financial assistance. I want to make sure we can get your pet the care they need.

What makes you different?

3

My services keep your cat in the comfort of their home, reducing a huge stressor of getting them into a carrier and in a car. I meet cats where they are.

How can I book an appointment?

4

You can contact me via texting, calling, or emailing. Check out the Appointments page for more information. I don’t have a direct booking calendar since my services are mobile and I need to account for variable drive time between clients.

What happens after I reach out for an appointment?

5

I’ll ask you some questions relating to my first time coming over. This includes any allergies, if your kitty is social or a hider, and what your preference is for being notified when I arrive. When I arrive, I’ll spend some time letting your cat investigate me. I do not rush into performing a treatment that your kitty doesn’t like as soon as I come in. We may have to give them breaks to make sure they’re staying comfortable. Once I’ve handled your kitty and seen what works and what doesn’t, I make notes for next time so we have a routine for future visits.

What areas do you service?

6

Located in Portland, Oregon. Serving the Portland metro and surrounding areas for any in-person services.

Do you offer pet sitting?

7

No, I do not offer pet sitting, but I’m happy to make some recommendations!

What does your business name mean/where did it come from?

8

Cats have the cutest paw pads which are often referred to as “toebeans” as they look like little beans on the bottoms of their paws. Since I was mostly doing nail trims at first, the full name became Toebean Trims. I love alliteration. What is life without a little whimsy?
